Make it easier for your kids to adjust to daylight saving time.

When daylight saving begins, we’ll move our clocks forward and start enjoying more daylight time. To make the transition easier, many parents begin adjusting their kids’ bedtime now—a little each day—instead of all at once.

If your child is an early riser, spring forward could be an excellent opportunity to try getting them to sleep later. Here are some tips about how to help your early riser:

Make their bedtime later

It might help them sleep later.

Use blackout curtains in your child’s bedroom

Because the sun rises earlier in the summer, keeping the sleep environment dark can help your child sleep later.

Set clear boundaries

It’s important to teach your children to stay in bed and not let them access the play environment before the appropriate time.

Have a wonderful spring!
