Start adjusting your kids sleep schedule so they’ll get the most out of school

As we approach the end of the summer and the beginning of the new school year, now is an excellent time to begin adjusting your children’s bedtime schedule. Because there’s often less structure and it stays light later, many children wait until dark to go to bed—which is much later than what’s recommended. Be proactive. Start preparing your children to go back to school (either in a classroom or at home). As the days grow shorter, start paying attention to what time it gets dark. Let nature help you make the adjustment as smooth as possible.
